completely satisfied with the product as it was described in the ad and what I received. Seller under promised and over delivered. My Roady XT actually replaced the second one that had been stolen from my vehicle. It was exactly what I had wanted.
I have an Altech-Lansing dock that I purchased on here for under $50 and it sounds great. This is my favorite radio of them all. I have had 4-5 XM radios over the years, starting with the Sony Plug-n-Play, which had a loud fan and was very bulky compared to today's radios. No need for a "home kit" when you use something like this. This radio is fairly inexpensive, so check around. It is small and the display is nice. You can switch colors of the display, to match your surroundings.Another nice thing about it is that there are a lot of accessories available for it. I have seen it listed a few different times here on Amazon, so you should be able to find a deal.Something worth mentioning, for some people, is that you can get stock information and also sports scores sent to this radio. If you want to keep track of these things, that will be a big selling point, I'm sure.
This is the best XM Radio I have owned, out of about 4. It's small, the display is easy to read, and it can easily be transported between car(s) and home. You can save 30 presets, it has "song memory" for you to keep track of songs you like, and the display can be changed to one of six colors, to match your car's. A good basic radio at a good price.
I looked at several before deciding on this one. I can make my entire 550 mile run without having to change FM settings, using the little magnetic antenna that came with it. I drive an 18 wheeler and this radio has all the features I need. Not complicated, easy to learn and use. The traffic reports are more complete than the ones I get on the local AM stations while driving thru Los Angeles. I love it and can think of no complaints which is why I give it 5 stars.
And it makes a delightful "chirp" when a favorite (stored) song comes on. This Roady is a "must have" if you live out in the boonies like I do. I bought this one used. We chose to attach it with Velcro (but there are other ways) and it has worked out very well. This model is easy to install and operate. And I haven't had any problems yet. I don't expect any problems, either.
